World renowned songwriter, passionate worship leader and part of the Catch The Fire family.

Brian Houston is a seasoned professional from Belfast Ireland. As a songwriter and performer he has shared stages with the likes of Van Morrison, Robert Plant, Chuck Berry and Elvis Costello.

Houston’s debut gig in North America was opening the first ever Worship Together event in Nashville with Chris Tomlin. In the CCM and worship industry Brian has worked with United Pursuit, Third Day, Michael W Smith, Delirious, Rend Collective, Matt Redman, Kirk Franklin, Chris McClarney, Jason Upton, Leonard Jones and Kevin Prosch. 

As a regular worship leader in CFC Belfast, Ireland for 10 years, Brian was signed as a recording artist and songwriter to Capitol Records and Thank You music. During this time, Brian toured the world leading worship at Worship Together, Catch The Fire and Partners in Harvest events.  From Gateway Church In Texas to tiny Gospel Hall meetings, Houston is skilled in connecting, inspiring and empowering local worshippers to go beyond their boundaries. 

In addition Brian is an experienced record producer and skilled recording engineer. Producing more than 25 albums for artists such as Robin Mark (known for Days of Elijah/Revival in Belfast) Brian has designed and conducted worship and songwriting workshops all over the globe, including the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Canada and the US.

Hailed as one of Britain’s great songwriters, Houston recently relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina, bringing a lifetime of experience working in the music industry wrapped in the wit, wisdom and charm of the Emerald Isle.
